Brazil has historically been a heavy user of anonymous confession formats — the Portuguese-language confession scene on Tumblr and Twitter was one of the largest in any non-English language at peak. Much of that audience scattered when those platforms shifted, and a portion has reaggregated on platforms like this one.

The Brazilian feed is dominated by relationship confession (with a particularly high volume of infidelity content), family-WhatsApp-group dynamics (the family group chat is its own social universe in Brazil and produces specific categories of confession that don't translate cleanly), and a heavy school/university row driven by the country's young median age.

Brazilian Portuguese is the working language. We keep submissions in Portuguese rather than auto-translating them, and we do not normalize regional vocabulary — Carioca and Paulista entries don't read identically and we don't pretend they do.
